Construction equipment rim is often 3-PC rim or 5-PC rim, also called there-piece rim or five-piece, it is made by different pieces like rim base, lock ring, flange, side ring and bead seat. The popular sizes in this segment are 12.00-25/1.5, 14.00-25/1.5, 17.00-25/1.7, 19.50-25/2.5, 22.00-25/3.0,24.00-25/3.0 and 25.00-25/3.5.

Mining rim is used mainly in mining machinery like large wheel loader, dozer, dump truck etc. Mining rim is built for tough conditions, it needs to bear heavy weight, heavy load and high speed. A broken mining rim can cause serious accident and massive economic loss, it needs to be reliable, trustworthy. .

Mining rims are mostly 5-PC rim, it is made by five pieces which are rim base, lock ring, bead seat and two side rings. The popular mining rim sizes are 25.00-25/3.5, 36.00-25/1.5, 27.00-29/3.0,28.00-33/3.5,17.00-35/3.5,19.5-49/4.0, 29.00-57/6.0, up to 63″, some of the rims from size 51” to 63” are also 7-PC. Our advantage is that we have our own steel mill who produces rim components like lock ring, flange, side ring, bead seat by ourself, we manage high-level quality and offer reasonable price.

3,OTR Rim Components

Rim components are lock ring, side ring, bead seat, driver key and side flange for different kinds of rims like 3-PC, 5-PC & 7-PC OTR rims, 2-PC, 3-PC & 4-PC forklift rims. The 25″ is the mainstream size of rim components because lots of wheel loaders, haulers and dumpers are using 25″ rims. Rim components are critical for rim quality and capability. The lock ring needs to have correct elasticity to make sure it locks the rim in the meanwhile easy to demount and mount. The bead seat are critical for capability of the rim, it bears major load of the rim. Side rings are the parts connect with tire, it needs to be strong and accurate enough to protect the tire.
